Successful Adult Education in an Intercultural Context

Successful Adult Education in an Intercultural Context

In collaboration with international companies and globally experienced trainers, we developed this certified training course “Train the Trainer in Business (AHK)” that corresponds to the requirements of a constantly changing knowledge society - as the effective transfer of specialized knowledge and the promotion of social competences of every individual are becoming more and more important.

Companies are looking for competent employees and trustworthy partners to effectively implement sophisticated international measures in vocational training and personnel development. For this purpose, they increasingly wish to develop their own experienced employees as trainer - for reasons of efficiency and cost. These "part-time-trainers" require adequate preparation for this challenging task, which often entails conducting training in a multi-national environment.

Today, we are looking for trainers, who can

ü  - apply modern pedagogy in the adult education,

ü  - develop targeted training measures with pedagogic imagination,

ü  - deliver sustainability by developing competencies rather than imparting knowledge,

ü  - act and respond with sensitivity and confidence in intercultural settings.

And trainers, already having experience in the field of education, are looking for a valuable education that imparts the methods of modern adult education and at the same time enhance their qualifications with a reputable certificate.

The AHK certified training course "Train the Trainer in Business (AHK)" prepares for guidance of complex training processes in the international context. The certified training course entails a high portion of activity-based learning and primarily develops process and performance skills.

Course participants embark on this training with self-learning module. Then, in an approximately 50-hour classroom module they experience modern adult education. They are not only taught the valuable insights of recent didactics and neuroscience but experience these at first hand and tried out and accomplished in action-oriented processes. Thereby, the training focuses in addition on cross-cultural aspects and differences in potential target audiences.

2015 ended with the 4th batch of Train the Trainer in Business. 10 participants from  the hospitality, metal working and shipping sector are now holders of AHK accredited certificate.
