Goethe Institut Job Announcement: Registrar for the Language Department

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institution operational worldwide. We promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. We also foster knowledge about Germany by providing information on its culture, society and politics.

The Goethe-Institut Manila is looking for a Registrar for the Language Department to start 1 July 2018 (full time).

Tasks

  • To advise costumers on services offered by the Goethe-Institut
  • Enrollment of students and exam participants
  • Invoicing and administration of financial affairs of the Language Department
  • Administration of our costumer databank
  • Administration of teaching materials
  • Assistance with organization and implementation of examinations
  • Assistance with implementation of promotional activities and events for language courses
  • General administrative tasks

Our Requirements

  • Customer-service oriented individual with excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Professional experience (at least one year)
  • Very good knowledge of German (at least B1)
  • Excellent command of English and Tagalog
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
  • Very good knowledge of office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure
  • willingness to work on evenings and on weekends
  • Detail-oriented and highly focused individual
