Ground breaking Ceremony marks the commencement of a great venture for MDP

The beginning is the most important part of the work” – Plato

It is both exciting and thrilling to start something grand, but for MHE-Demag Philippines, something massive and immense is not being viewed as a burden but a challenge that motivates the people to become dreamers and visionaries who are equally passionate and steadfast to finish every feat that was started. Driven with commitment to provide better service to its stakeholders, MDP has now 10 offices and service depots strategically stationed in various locations across the country, offering sales and services, which makes it possible for an easy and well-timed deployment to customer sites.

With the construction of MDP’s new fabrication facility in the First Philippine Industrial Park located in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, production of cranes is expected to increase with its automated plant operations and vast production area seated on a 2-hectare land. The plant is targeted to be completed second quarter of 2019 and is enough motivation for everyone to double our efforts in order to meet this year’s targets.

“This is a true Philippine success story, what started 28 years ago with the vision to bring high quality material handling solutions to the Philippines, customized for local requirements and after designing, building, installing and servicing over 1,200 cranes domestically, we have outgrown our current factory due to tripling our business volume in the last ten years. Our new state of the art and environmental friendly facility will allow us to fabricate 300 cranes per year and we are proud that this investment is fully paid by proceeds generated in the Philippines, by a workforce that is 99% Filipino! We are excited to continue to support the development and sustainable industrialization of this beautiful country!” says Marc von Grabowski, MHE-Demag Philippines - President.

“I witnessed the setting out of MHE-Demag in the Philippines, how it grew as a business and up until today that it is set to take on a major undertaking, that makes me excited on the things that we expect to see more of MDP in the years to come” says Joergen Moeller.
