TÜV Rheinland confers ISO certificate to Army Signal Regiment

The Army Signal Regiment recently received its certificate for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System from TÜV Rheinland Philippines with the scope: Provision of level 3 and 4 corrective repair and maintenance of the HQ, and signal installation and maintenance battalion; and provision of training services for Army Signal Regiment operations last 27 April 2017.

TÜV Rheinland Philippines Managing Director, Tristan Arwen Loveres, attended the awarding together with Charles Marvin Chua, Key Account Officer.  Col Adrian D. Sanchez Jr., the Regiment Commander received the certificate from Mr. Loveres and shared their experience during the certification journey.

“The process was not easy; it went through a lot of hard work, patience and perseverance. It was meticulously reviewed and studied with the help of the development academy of the Philippines. Being an iso 9001:2008 certified is a commitment for us to strive and attain the Quality Management Systems standards designed to help our organization to ensure that we meet the needs and expectations of our customers and other stakeholders,” Col. Sanchez said.

Together with the entire organization, Col. Sanchez committed that they will continue to perform their responsibilities with full dedication for the welfare of those who are in need of the army’s service.

The Philippine Army is the main, oldest and largest branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines responsible for ground warfare.
