The French Chamber, Dutch Chamber, and Advantage Austria organized the “Diversity and Inclusion in Business - Forum” at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel.
Diversity and inclusion have become a global business impetus. A recent survey conducted by the PwC New Ventures presented that 87% of the participants’ responded diversity is a stated value or priority area for their organizations.
The business practice contributes to a more adaptable workplace and therefore, keeps companies competitive in ever changing markets: According to a survey found by the United Nations International Labour Organization, companies that practice gender diversity get higher profits hikes of between 5% and 20%.
The forum served as platform to discuss best practices of diversity and inclusion at the work place. It also offered inspirational talks as impulse by esteemed speakers such as H.E. Bita Rasoulian, Ambassador of Austria to the Republic of the Philippines and Palau to help eliminate bias and to become “opportunity-makers” in our companies.
