2025 Green Jobs Forum: Sustainability at Work

Advancing Green Skills for Sustainable Industries in the Philippines

🗓️ 09 July 2025

⏰ 2:00 - 5:00 PM

🏨 TBD

The transition to a sustainable and inclusive economy depends on developing a skilled workforce capable of driving green industries forward. Green jobs are at the core of this transformation. Insights from the 2025 Sustainability Forum: The Green Economies of Tomorrow underscored the need for a multi-stakeholder approach, balancing skills development, policy support, and economic feasibility to accelerate the Philippines' shift to a greener economy. However, despite progress, challenges remain in skills development and scaling sustainable business models.

To advance this agenda, GPCCI, in partnership with the German Embassy in Manila, will host the 2025 Green Jobs Forum: Sustainability at Work on 09 July 2025. This high-level dialogue will tackle the approaches for skills development, ensuring that green jobs drive both economic resilience and environmental sustainability. By bringing together key stakeholders, the event aims to encourage businesses to invest in green job creation, strengthen workforce upskilling, and explore policy mechanisms that support sustainable employment—aligning economic growth with the country's climate and sustainability commitments.
