The evening began with a warm welcome from GPCCI Executive Director, Mr. Christopher Zimmer, who highlighted the importance of staying connected and strengthening relationships within the business community. He was also pleased to acknowledge GPCCI Board Members Dr. Christian Scheld, Mr. Tobias Rast, Mr. Roland Metelmann, and Mr. Matthias Koehler, whose continued support and commitment to the Chamber have helped foster the strong sense of community reflected throughout the evening.
Despite the rainy weather, spirits remained high as guests gathered over free-flowing German beer courtesy of Beverage Sponsor, Lucullus. The relaxed atmosphere brought together long-time members, partners, and newcomers alike, creating connections that embodied the spirit of the GPCCI community.
Adding to the excitement was the much-awaited raffle, featuring a variety of prizes from GPCCI’s valued partners. A highlight of the evening was the grand prize generously sponsored by Lanson Place Mall of Asia, which brought plenty of anticipation and smiles among attendees.
GPCCI extends its sincere appreciation to the event’s Supporting Partner, TÜV Rheinland, for its continued trust and support. The Chamber also extends its gratitude to Brotzeit, and its Visibility Partner, Sign Media Inc. whose thoughtful giveaways added an extra touch of enjoyment to the evening.
More than simply a farewell to summer, Abgrillen zum Sommerende 2026 was a celebration of the relationships that make the German-Philippine business community strong. From new connections to familiar reunions, the evening showcased the warmth and shared spirit that continues to define the GPCCI community.
