Beautiful weather, friendly competition, and great company. Check out the highlights from this year’s GGAC 2024.
The hype for the bi-annual tournament remained strong since it was last held in 2022, with players fueled by competitive spirit and sporting a fresh tournament kit through the support of Allianz PNB Life Insurance for 2024.
Despite being wedged in between two consecutive typhoons, a twist of fate still enabled the tournament to commence on 15 November 2024 at Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa, Batangas. The tournament started with GPCCI Executive Director, Mr. Christopher Zimmer welcoming the players and wishing them a good day at the fairways.
In attendance to the Ceremonial Tee-Off were German Embassy, Head of Administration, Mr. Alexander Thielitz, Allianz CEO and President, Mr. Joe Gross, GPCCI President, Ms. Marie Antoniette Mariano, and GPCCI Golf Director, Mr. Klaus Schroeder who all kicked off the tournament with the official tournament balls shrouded in vibrant blue smoke.
After teeing off, players made their way to their assigned holes in golf carts provided by Antrak Logistics, proudly serving as our Fairway Cruiser Sponsor.
Continuing the GGAC tradition, the tournament concluded with a reception at the German Ambassador’s Residence. Attendees were treated to beers by Krah Pipes Manila and scrumptious dinner cocktails by the German Club Manila.

Before ending a day of fun and sportsmanship, GGAC handed out a donation cheque amounting to Php 210,000 for this year’s beneficiary, Physicians for Peace. Represented by Ms. Lyne Abanilla and Dr. Josephine Bundoc, PFP is a non-profit organization that provides healthcare for those in need, from assisting with eye care and hearing to restoring mobility and livelihood with prosthetic donations and burn care & rehabilitation.
