During the morning session, representatives from 1882 Energy Ventures (Aboitiz Power), Apala Group, PV2 Energie Philippines, Inc., and WeGen Energy Philippines shared their views on the evolving renewable energy landscape in the Philippines.

Discussions focused on emerging trends, innovative technologies, and strategies for expanding clean energy initiatives. Participants highlighted how integrating the Dual Training approach can equip trainees with practical, industry-aligned experience, foster employability, and address sector-specific skills gaps — ultimately developing a more skilled and future-ready workforce to support the sector’s rapid growth.

Logistics Roundtable: Innovation and Training for a Competitive Industry

In the afternoon, leaders from FLS Group Philippines and a.hartrodt participated in a dynamic exchange on improving logistics efficiency through innovation, operational enhancements, and strengthened talent development.

The session emphasized the value of industry-based learning in bridging workforce gaps and providing hands-on experience for trainees. Discussions also explored how collaboration between training institutions and private companies can enhance operational efficiency, support long-term growth, and prepare a competitive, adaptable workforce for the logistics sector.

Strengthening Industry–Education Collaboration

Both roundtable discussions aimed to deepen collaboration between GPCCI and private sector partners in advancing the Dual Training System — aligning industry needs with skills development strategies to help build a capable, adaptable, and future-ready Filipino workforce.

GPCCI reaffirms its commitment to fostering partnerships that promote sustainability, innovation, and inclusive workforce growth across key industries in the Philippines.
