The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) kicked off its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 8 April 2026 at Ballroom 1 of Fairmont Makati.
The AGM Meeting Proper was opened with a message from H.E. Andreas Pfaffernoschke, German Ambassador to the Philippines, who highlighted the continued strength of German–Philippine economic relations and reaffirmed GPCCI’s vital role in advancing this partnership.
GPCCI’s outgoing President Ms. Marie Antoniette “Maan” Mariano then presented her annual report, highlighting key milestones from 2025, including flagship events, advocacy work, and initiatives that further strengthened business growth, collaboration, and mobility between Germany and the Philippines.
Looking ahead, Executive Director Mr. Christopher Zimmer shared the Chamber’s priorities for 2026, outlining an engaging calendar of forums, trade delegations, and member-focused programs designed to sustain momentum and deepen industry connections throughout the year.
Chamber Treasurer Mr. Joseph Gross followed with an overview of GPCCI’s financial performance, reflecting the steady confidence and continued support of members and premium partners that have strengthened the Chamber’s foundation.
The meeting concluded with an open floor discussion before formal adjournment, wrapping up the day’s official proceedings on a collaborative note.
As evening set in, members and guests gathered at the Mistral Rooftop for AGM After Dark, an energized and relaxed networking event that brought the community together beyond the boardroom.

- GPCCI Director: Stefan Kolbe, Managing Director of Melchers Philippines Inc.
- GPCCI Director: Roland Metelmann, Managing Director of Fuchs Lubricants (Philippines) Inc.
- GPCCI Director: Hendrik Mollenhauer, Consulting Manager of PwC Philippines Inc.
- GPCCI Director: Dr. Bin Wang, General Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim (Philippines), Inc.
- GPCCI Executive Director: Mr. Christopher Zimmer
Adding a personal touch to the evening, the GPCCI team delivered a special appreciation performance, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere as a heartfelt recognition of outgoing directors for their dedicated service and contributions to the Chamber’s growth.
The night ended on a high note with a raffle draw, courtesy of Lanson Place Mall of Asia and Raffles and Fairmont Makati, leaving guests energized and in high spirits.
