After strong public interest, the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (GPCCI) organized its first company visit of the year with " Engineering Precision: Company Visit to ZAMA Philippines" on 28 July 2026. The event brought together members from diverse industries and professional backgrounds for an exclusive tour of ZAMA's manufacturing facility in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
ZAMA Philippines has been operating in the country for more than a decade and has been a valued GPCCI Member for the past 12 years. The company continues to strengthen its presence in the Philippines, highlighted by the opening of a new facility in 2024 to support its expanding product portfolio. Recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of precision-engineered components, including carburetors, ZAMA has also diversified its operations to produce engineered textile products such as power tool harnesses.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to witness firsthand how these products are manufactured — from raw metal sheets to sophisticated electronic and electrical components. The facility tour demonstrated ZAMA's effective integration of automation and human expertise, with many production processes benefitting advanced technologies that require minimal supervision. Despite these, people remain at the core of ZAMA's 24/7 operations. Critical assembly and quality assurance processes continue to rely on skilled personnel to uphold the company's high standards of excellence.
Beyond the factory tour, attendees also enjoyed valuable networking opportunities, enabling them to exchange insights and industry knowledge with fellow professionals. The event further highlighted the German-Philippine business community's commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and collaboration.
