On September 12, 2024 the ProRecognition Project, an initiative coordinated by DIHK Service GmbH and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) was officially launched in AHK Philippines and Indonesia. This project aims to provide counselling on the recognition of qualifications for skilled workers, to ensure that they can effectively navigate the pathways to employment in Germany.
The kick-off event, attended both in-person and online, brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from DIHK, the German Embassy in Indonesia and the Philippines, Goethe Institut, GIZ, DAAD, and Wisma Jerman. Their participation highlights the collaborative effort required to support skilled workers in their journeys as they explore opportunities in Germany.
The ProRecognition Project is also represented in Algeria, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, India, Morocco, and Turkey, leveraging the network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad to deliver localized support and advice. By supporting skilled professionals with the information they need, we aim to facilitate their integration into the talent pool in Germany.
