PAVE Program: Trainees race through intermediate exam

The quality assurance by GPCCI in the Porsche Aftersales Vocational Education (PAVE) program takes the next step. The intermediate exam of the third batch of auto-mechatronics trainees was successfully completed. The for the certification optional examination serves to evaluate the training status and opens up opportunities for students and school (Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati), as well as the industry (Porsche AG) to identify gaps and with the support of the chamber to make sure future steps continuously ensure the success of the program. 

33 students were examined from April 17-24 2018 on theory, practice and customer orientation. The tasks were adjusted locally by GPCCI and approved by educational representatives from the field.

The PAVE program is being carried out by the Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia (PTRC-A) in cooperation with the Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) to pilot a locally accredited, new vocational training program in Automotive Service Mechatronics, which can be replicated internationally, providing the ever-dynamic, international automotive industry with state-of-the-art trained professionals.
