GPCCI: Special Projects Officer – ProRecognition Lead

Objective of the position

Responsible for the implementation and promotion of the ProRecognition Project and advising professionals on employment in Germany through consultations and events. The position reports to Dual Training & Education and Special Projects Director.

Main Targets

  • Plan and implement the project activities of ProRecognition in alignment with the project plan by DIHK and strategic plans of the Skilled Migration vertical
  • Establish the competence center on labor migration within AHK Philippinen and build the necessary network with local and international partners
  • Advise professionals on employment in Germany through consultations and events
  • Handle the project marketing, administration and reporting to both the Department Head of Dual Training & Education and Special Projects and DIHK.

Main Tasks

    • Independently process initial enquiries via phone, email, or social media, prepare case studies of all difficulty levels, and document the consultation as per Standard Operating Procedures
    • Coordinate the team, run team meetings, update the daily consultation tracker, and create performance reports
    • Plan the annual event calendar, support with its implementation and proper documentation, and continuously update the events strategy based on event learnings and developments
    • Frequently liaise with project partners, establish processes for cooperation with partners such as Hand in Hand, Goethe, and DAAD, and maintain the partner database
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies for ProRecognition which are aligned to the marketing strategy for the Skilled Migration vertical, plan and implement social media or other online marketing campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness
    • Manage ProRecognition’s project website and online appearance on partner websites, the content database and the content creation/updating process
  • Conceptualize and coordinate short, interview, and video testimonials with success clients, create content for the ProRecognition website, monthly newsletter, and print collateral
    • Conceptualize the monthly newsletter, coordinate partner contents and ensure the punctual distribution
    • Manage the quarterly reporting, continuously update DIHK lists for partners and problems with authorities and write annual report
    • Support the Head Dual Training & Education and Special Projects with budgeting, controlling and invoicing, service development, creation of SOPs and job aids, and training of new team members

Other Tasks

  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned or delegated by GPCCI, such additional duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
    • Assisting other departments
    • Contributing to cross-functional projects
    • Taking on tasks outside the primary job scope

Job Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of managerial experience working in an advisory role and/or international recruitment
  • In-depth knowledge of the German and Philippine professional education system, the German recognition system, job market, and immigration laws
  • Marketing experience, relevant certifications are added advantage
  • Event management experience

    • English: highest level, oral and written
    • German: at least B2 language proficiency

GPCCI: Skills Expert for Dual Education and Training

Objectives:  

As a Skills Expert, you will lead the development, implementation, and expansion of dual vocational training programs and related initiatives in the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Your role will be integral in ensuring the business sustainability of the programs and meeting the key objectives relating to vocational training. 

Job requirements 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design, implementation and growth of dual vocational training programs in GPCCI 
  • Identify and engage key local and international partners, including educational institutions, government bodies, and businesses 
  • Expansion of the continuing / certification courses 
  • Identification of the training needs of German companies 
  • Policy advice and acquisition, cooperation with local institutions in the vocational training sector 
  • Identification of partners for dual training courses 
  • Development and implementation of training programs for trainers 
  • Evaluation and implementation of dual training courses for companies 
  • Development of quality-assurance structures and instruments in GPCCI 
  • Passing on vocational training know-how to colleagues and partners 
  • Preparation of reports and documentation 

Qualifications: 

  • Completed a degree (Dual Study or Vocational Training is an advantage) 
  • Relevant professional experience in a training company, IHK, AHK or a vocational training institution 
  • Knowledge of the German dual system and the Philippine vocational training system an advantage 
  • Marketing experience, relevant certifications are added advantage 

Aptitude: 

  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach to challenges 
  • Proven project management experience including budget and team leadership 
  • Understanding of Business management principles 
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, with a high degree of initiative and creativity  
  • Experience in dealing with public institutions and authorities 
  • Knowledge of analyzing and evaluation vocational training systems 
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining to be adaptable

GPCCI: Project Officer – Dual Education and Training

As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and expansion of dual vocational training programs and related initiatives in the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the design and expansion of dual vocational training programs, continuing education courses, and certification programs. 
  • Manage day-to-day project administration, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with partners and stakeholders 
  • Help identify and engage with local educational institutions, government bodies, and potential partners for vocational training collaboration. 
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of training programs, ensuring their quality and effectiveness, and gather feedback for improvement 
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to training needs, program effectiveness, and partner performance 
  • Help maintain and improve quality assurance structures 
  • Prepare regular progress reports for the Project Lead, including insights and recommendations for improving project outcomes 
  • Organize relevant trainings and events 

Qualifications: 

  • Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Education, Vocational Training). Vocational training or experience in dual study programs is a plus. 
  • Previous professional experience in a vocational training institution, educational organization, or training company (preferably with some exposure to both the German and Philippine training systems) 
  • Basic experience in project management, with a focus on supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives 
  • Excellent written and spoken English (fluency in German is an advantage) 
  • Proficient in MS Office

Objective of the position

Responsible for providing market consultancy, support services in areas of business development, market entry consulting, research, and sector working groups, this position reports to the Head of Trade Promotion.

Principal Accountabilities

Business Development

  1. Handling of company inquiries about the Philippine market
  2. Participating in tenders and creation of proposals through conceptualization of customized projects
  3. Marketing and consultation towards potential clients
  4. Acquiring public and private projects along market entry/business consultancy

Implementation of Market Consultancy Projects

  1. Guiding/Consulting German companies in their market entry
  2. Providing Research and Market Analysis
  3. Providing solutions such as Business Matchings, Scoping Missions and Events
  4. Project planning, time keeping and financial project management
  5. Managing Events for training, conferences and marketing seminars

Job Specifications and Qualifications

Education

  1. Minimum is a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business management or related disciplines

Experience

  1. More than 3 years of experience in the field of business development or trade promotion
  2. Experience of market research and excellent knowledge about Philippine economy, trade and business
  3. Event management
