GPCCI Executive Director Dr. Martin Henkelmann was present at the 14thAsia Pacific Forum in Bavaria last 10 July 2019. Also present at the event was a Philippine delegation led by Bases Conversion and Development Authority Vice President Joanna Capones.
Dr. Henkelmann and Vice President Capones participated in the New Hotspots in Asia panel where they pitched the Philippines, more specifically the New Clark City, as an investment hub. Their presentations were attended by an audience of 200 people.
The forum also served as a platform to meet companies who are interested in investing in the region. 20 individual meetings with companies were organized by the Chamber. GPCCI and the Philippine delegation’s presence at the event assured that inquiries about entering the Philippine market can be easily answered by experts.
