On November 7, 2019, members of the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) facility in MacroAsia Special Economic Zone, Villamor Airbase, Pasay City.
Mr. Daniel Hoffman, Senior Vice President of LTP, gave an overview of the company and explained the different services that LTP offers such as aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul. LTP currently has 3,200 employees making the Philippines the largest subsidiary in Asia Pacific. In order to cater to more customers, LTP is opening a new hangar by the end of November.
The briefing was then followed by a walkthrough from Bay 1 to Bay 6 of the facility where the participants witnessed firsthand how LTP operates. Mr. Hoffman personally led the tour and shared insight on the company’s best practices.
