Dual Training Workshop on Revenue - Generating HRD Services

22.01.2018

The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) kicked off the New Year with a two-day workshop on “Identifying income-generating Human Resource Development services”. The workshop was a platform for the more than 40 participants representing 20 chambers throughout the Philippines to discuss and explore human-resource related services. “We hope the inputs from this workshop will help chambers to support their members in the challenging task to access, train, and retain skilled workers to improve Philippine companies’ competitiveness in the global economy,” says Jana Franke-Everett, Dual Training Director at GPCCI. At the same time, relevant services will help chambers to sustain and expand their operations.

Guest speakers at the workshop included Ma. Allegria “Bing” Sibal-Limjoco, President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Nerissa Austria, HR Manager of MHE-Demag, and Björn Koslowski, Deputy Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam. The workshop was part of GPCCI’s commitment to the Kto12 Plus project, a multi-stakeholder initiative in the Philippines supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
