GPCCI: Head of Chamber Services

Objective of the Position

 

 

 

 

To successfully develop, manage, and market high-quality business-to-business networking programs that will assist member companies and expand their business opportunities.

 

 

 

 

 

Principal Accountabilities

 

 

 

 

>Management of the Chamber Services Department and Communication

  1. Development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the department Management of budget in all events and activities of the department
  2. Preparation and compliance of yearly budget (long-term and short-term) Supervision of staff and enhancement of his/her job responsibilities
  3. Evaluation of staff on a regular basis and communication of his/her KPI

>Strengthen membership interest and provide its platform

  1. Member retention and acquisition

  2. Understand concerns and needs to help advocate for business interests

  3. Provide platform through different venues like media channels (newsletter/

    website), events and committee work

 

 

 

 

Main Operational Tasks

 

 

 

 

>Provide business supporting activities targeted at membership’s interest

 

 

 

 

  1. Identification of needs and understanding general concerns through direct contact to members
  2. Mediating member concerns towards public stakeholders and among members
  3. Connect/introduce member companies for the mutual benefit of both parties
  4. Committee Work to channel and formulate business interests/ concerns towards other stakeholders
  5. Creation and execution of content events and networking events for membership
  6. Acquisition of sponsors and funds for the implementation of projects and events

 

 

 

 

>Acquisition of new members

  1. Representation of GPCCI at official members events in the Philippines
  2. Produce the event schedule
  3. Development of concept on membership survey after completion of certain events
  4. Execute the planning and logistics for on-site and off-site networking conferences, meetings and events.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

>Day-to-Day Activities

  1. Answer inquiries of member companies and partners
  2. Coordinate with other team members for events/activities that can be offered to members
  3. Ensure that CRM system is up to date
  4. Coordination with other bilateral Chambers to produce events that will benefit members
  5. Coordination with Executive Director on Board Directors’ meetings and activities (?)
  6. Preparation of reports as needed by the Executive Director
  7. Negotiate with vendors/suppliers

 

 

 

 

Job Specifications and Qualifications

>Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, marketing or related disciplines

     

     

     

     

>Experience

  1. More than 5 years of experience in managing a team organizing and delivering projects in field of events and membership.
  2. Vast experience of writing press releases and articles - preparation of presentation materials
  3. Conceptualization of marketing materials for events

>Key Competencies

  1. Excellent management skills
  2. Effective communication, verbal and written capabilities, presentation skills who can engage audiences of all ages
  3. Can deliver a sales and marketing campaign that will produce growth and improve engagement within the membership community
  4. Demonstrated capacity and experience in the use of a web-based record database

GPCCI: Senior Procurement Officer

Objective of the Position

This position is newly created to support German companies to better participate in projects financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This position reports to the Deputy Executive Director and Head of Trade Promotion.

Principal Accountabilities

>Management of area of responsibility

  • Regular discussion and communication of his/her KPIs
  • Preparation and implementation of budget in the area of responsibility

Main Operational Tasks

> Support with regard to the procurement of ADB projects

  • Provide information on business opportunities at ADB
  • Guide/consult/support German companies in participating in ADB projects throughout the bidding process
  • Organize and plan business matching and scoping missions to the ADB
  • Manage events for training and conferences with regard to ADB projects and procedures
  • Research for studies and analysis
  • Building a strong network with ADB, the executive agencies of the projects financed by ADB and the local private sector

> Business Development

  • Initiate business opportunities for GPCCI in the field of informing, training, consulting and supporting companies with regard to ADB projects’ procurement

Job Specifications and Qualifications

>Education

  • Minimum is a Bachelor’s Degree on finance, law and economics or related disciplines

>Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience in procurement and at least 2 years in working with ADB

>Key Competencies

  • Effective communication, verbal and written capabilities, presentation skills

Deutsche Fachkräfte Agentur: Dossier Specialist

Objective of the Position

This position is newly created to support the recognition and preparation of the visa process of health care personnel applying for jobs in Germany. The person is stationed in Manila and will report to the German Skilled Labor Agency (Deutsche Fachkräfte Agentur) located in Germany.

Principal Accountabilities and Tasks

 

 

  • Accepting of documents for the recognition and visa process
  • Entering document data in the IT-system and uploading attachments
  • Checking on completeness and validity
  • Verifying authenticity of selected documents through background checks
  • Coordinating directly with the German Embassy Manila

Job Specifications and Qualifications

>Education

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR or similar field. Law background is an advantage.
  • Alternatively: practice in a clerical profession and/or formal training / a degree issued by a university or other institution of higher education;

>Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar fields, like the handling of documents in an Embassy’s visa or consulate section or in the BPO industry

>Key Competencies

  • Effective communication, verbal and written capabilities;
  • English fluency, German language knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement;

Objective of the Position

This position is newly created to support the Dossier Specialist in collating and organizing applications for the health care personnel applying jobs in Germany.

Principal Accountabilities and Tasks

 

 

 

  • Handles initial communication of job applicants for endorsement to the Dossier Specialist
  • Handles incoming and outgoing calls (monitors all incoming calls and ensure that proper message endorsement is completed).
  • Responsible for office upkeep.
  • Monitors all internal and external business correspondences (mails).
  • Monitors and replenishes office supplies and pantry supplies requirements.
  • Complies building requirements on building movements.
  • Assists in monitoring applications submitted to Dossier Specialist

HEUFT  SYSTEMTECHNIK  GMBH  is  a  medium-sized  German  company  and  a  technology leader  that  provides  modular  solutions  in  the  field  of  filling  and  packaging  beverages, food and pharmaceuticals. Highly efficient systems are manufactured at the headquarter located  in  Burgbohl.  HEUFT  Solutions  cover  inspection  modules,  labelling  technology, container flow optimization and data gathering tools for production performance analysis.

The  Asia  business  is  operated  by  HEUFT’s  service  team  in  Manila.  To  support  the company’s  further  growth  a  Service  Manager  is  needed  who  will  be  acting  as  the Operations Manager and reporting to the mother company in Hongkong.

JOB OPENING : SERVICE MANAGER 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Represent HEUFT in the Philippines
  • Manage the office operations in Manila (20 pax)
  • Control and manage the service team of HEUFT in Asia to provide high level technical services to customers in and outside Asia
  • Control and support the Manila office team to ensure the team provides fast after sales services and spare part support
  • Support and boost the commercial after sales activities in the Asia/Oceania region
  • Deliver on-demand support for other HEUFT subsidiaries with engineers from the Philippine office

Education

  • Technical or commercial background, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Ability to lead, guide and motivate a large team of engineers and assistants which deliver high level technical support to our customers worldwide
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, in after sales services
  • Excellent leadership experience
  • Fluent business English
  • Highly flexible and able to work independently
