Since 2015, GPCCI supported more than 70 students to:

  • learn based on an enhanced curriculum;
  • undergo 600-800 hours of work-immersion;
  • follow a structured training plan;
  • be mentored by a trained in-company trainer; and
  • undergo a TESDA National Certificate assessment and Chamber Certification.

Desiree Rivero

Qualified in-company trainers are vital for the success of Dual Education and Training (DET). As mentors, they are responsible for the learning and personal development of the learners in the company. Under the Kto12 PLUS Project, GPCCI member company, MHE-Demag (P) Inc., reaps the benefits of opening its doors for Dual Education and Training (DET). The work-based learning component of Dual Education and Training (DET) provides learners with the opportunity to gain specific professional knowledge and to improve their personal and practical skills and competencies.
